2010 Chevrolet Camaro

Are you looking for a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro?

Q: When is the new 2010 chevrolet camaro coming out?

A: They will start building the 2010 Camaro in February and they will hit our lots in March. No SS models will be built for the 1st 60 days and of the production run only 20% will be SS. We are taking order at sticker price.

Q: where can i rent a 2010 chevrolet camaro in maryland or washington dc?
for prom

A: Most of the national car rental companies won’t stock a Camaro for rent due to the fact they know all too well people would beat on it. Even if it has a V6 engine. I’m positive their bean counters have done the math & found that it’s not worth it. Some independent car dealers may, but most likely would prefer to sell the car rather than rent it. I’m sure somewhere in the country there is a rental agency who specializes in them. But around Chicago where I am, I’ve not seen a single one for rent.

Q: Which car is better? Nissan 350z or 2010 Chevrolet Camaro?
Also, which one is faster? im pretty sure that the camaro blows away the jap-box 350z, but im just curious

A: 350z (based on 2005 model year track trim)
3.5L V6
300HP
260Ft-Lbs TQ

Camaro
6.2L V8
426HP
420 Ft-Lbs TQ

Looks like the camero would win if it had a V8, I don’t think it would win with the V6

Q: When is the 2010 chevrolet camaro coming out?

A: What we have been told is they start being built in February and the first ones will hit our lots in March. I already have one ordered for a customer.

Q: which car would be a better car to drive? the 2010 hyundai genesis coupe or the 2010 chevrolet camaro?
i’ve been wanting a camaro since i saw the car but recently i was told by a car dealer that the hyundai would be better for me but i’m not sure if he was saying that just to get a sale so i would like an unbiased opinion on which car would be better

A: You my friend NEED to test drive the new Camaro! After you drive it you will have a severe case of perma-grin! The v6 with its 304hp or the V8 with its 400-426hp should be able to help answer this question. My money would be on the Camaro.

Q: Process of buying a 2009/2010 Chevrolet Camaro?
Hi.
I’m interested in purchasing this car within the next year or two and I understand that this car is not available to test drive or on display in the dealership.

Without the Camaro being on the lot to test drive or anything, how would I go about buying this car?

To my understanding, in many places it’s sold out already! So for those who have done it, how did you get your hands on the Camaro? (Please be specific)

A: Right now it’s hard to find one at a dealership because the 2010 Camaro is one HOT car. The car is in demand. Once the demand has died down, you can expect to find them at your local dealer. In a year or two, there should be plenty to find to test drive.

Q: where can I find a 2010 chevrolet camaro with all the top of the line features?
automatic transmission, corvet engine, racing wheels, bose stereo with cd player, leather interior, orange color,

A: a CHEVY DEALER or any place that has a ss model

Q: should i get a 2010 chevrolet camaro, a 2009 dodge challenger or a 2010 ford mustang?

A: Camaro.

The V6 engine has 306HP. That is 96HP more than the Mustang V6 And 56HP more than the Challenger V6, making the Camaro V6 the quickest car with equal handling to the Mustang and much better handling than the Challenger.
0-60mph in 6.0 seconds for the Camaro V6
0-60mph in 7.5 seconds for the Mustang V6
0-60mph in 8.0 seconds for the Challenger V6

The V8 SS has 422HP. That is 107HP more than the Mustang GT and 3HP less than the much much heavier and less aerodynamic Dodge Challenger SRT-8.
0-60mph in 4.9 seconds for the Camaro SS. Top Speed=170mph+
0-60mph in 5.2 seconds for the Mustang GT. Top Speed=149mph
0-60mph in 5.1 seconds for the Challenger SRT-8. Top Speed=170mph.

The Mustang GT is the lightest, which is why it is nearly as quick as others. The reason why the heavier Camaro is able to handle as well is that the Camaro has near 50/50 weight distribution and a much more advanced suspension, while the Mustang GT uses old technology like leaf springs for the suspension.

And with the Camaro being 2nd cheapest and overall fastest car here, it is the bext choice. It matches the performance of the $80,000 2010 540HP Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, which also happened to have the same 0-60mph time of 4.9 seconds and the ability to pass 170mph, but it is limited to 155mph.

Q: 2010 chevrolet camaro
does anyone know how much the new chevy camaro thats coming out in 2010 will cost, price ranges because ive always wanted a camaro and i love the new ones and i turn 16 the year it comes out and i want to start saving as soon as i can. thank you!

A: most of the write up on these have said they may start in the 18-22,000 range.. the cheapy model to compete with the mustangs and the challengers… step up to the monsters and they’re supposed to be in the 22-48,000 dollar range . they were even talking about the new ls9 being offered ! if this is true–the ss’s and z cars are going to be faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaast !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and expsensive !!!

Q: when will the 2010 chevrolet camaro hit the showrooms?

A: They are already out in some areas. Pre orders are filled first, then dealer orders.

Q: my dad is thinking of buying a 2010 chevrolet camaro?
and he wants to know if that they are worth it seems they had bad blind spots and is it even worth test driving to see for himself

A: the 2010 camaro is an excellent choice.. i just ordered a v6 as a daily driver.. my dad has the SS with the 6.2l ls3 and it is an absolutely fantastic car.. yeah the camaro would be a track monster.. while the challenger would be a cruise.. and the mustang would be the daily driver.. but i’m a chevy guy.. i might own a challenger for a daily driver if the v6 had more power

Q: I recently purchased a 2010 2LT Chevrolet Camaro. Is there a way for me to get the RS package now? Links?
I regret not originally placing it on it and am looking for an aftermarket way to reliably place that package on my car. Please post any links available

A: Dealer installed maybe.. but its going to cost you a LOT more than from the factory.

Q: Would the new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro be a good car for a teenager?
Hey I am a 15 year old boy and I got my permit several months ago. Of course, I am already looking forward to getting a car when I turn 16 and I am a big research freak so I have been looking at all kinds of cars and reading all about them. My dad owns a Honda Motorcycle shop so he has a deal with the local Honda Automobile dealership where we can get all vehicles at a really good deal and even though everyone talks about the Civic for a teenager, I find it too girly and am more interested in the Pilot. My dad is fond of this choice, however, the Chevrolet Camaro has obviously caught my eye, and surprisingly my dad is pretty supportive of both choices. Basically what I am wondering is if any of you think that the new Camaro would be a good car for a teenager. I know that what I type here isn’t going to have much meaning but I am a very responsible teenager and all that jazz, so safety and stuff isn’t the utmost concern (although I am fully aware that accidents can happen to ANYONE). Yeah so if you could just give me some advice as to what you would think would be a good car and if you think the Camaro or the Pilot would be a good choice. Money isn’t really a big deal, and I am very blessed to be in this situation and I don’t take it for granted, but the maximum cost I would say is around 35000, or maybe less. THANK YOU everyone for you help :) .
Thanks Dudley I understand what you are saying and that is exactly the type of answer I am looking for. I do have roughly 15000 dollars that I have myself the past 2 years (it would take a while to explain how I made it) and my parents are willing to match that cost cuz of all my hard work. I was looking to really just go all out with my first car cuz I hardly ever buy anything but hopefully your answers can help me think about the decisions I need to make. Thanks!
I must also make sure you know that I am not interested in the speed and power and whatnot. I mean I am but it sure is not the reason I want the Camaro – plain and simply, I can’t get over it’s obvious style and wow in my opinion its just utterly gorgeous.
Aghhh now I feel like a spoiled brat haha… :(
Thanks for the quick responses you guys its really making me rethink everything. I have been a car enthusiast since I can remember (like most boys Im sure) and I’m not wanting this cuz I hope it gets me friends or chicks, I just really like this car haha. Where I am from a Camaro is by far not too extravagant, where as a BMW might be a bit too much. Ugh now Im confused but seriously thank you all for your advice.
Could anyone suggest an alternative…hehe?

A: I’d say yeah. You’d be extremely lucky to own one especially as a first car. Just make sure it’s a V6.

I’d recommend a Focus Coupe or maybe a Cobalt if you want something a little slower. But the Cobalt SS is really fast. You can get a 2009 Cobalt SS for about 15K brand new. And it goes 0-60 faster than the EVO MR Lexus IS-F, Audi S5 Honda, S2000 CR, Dodge Challenger SRT-8, Lotus Elise SC, Subaru Impreza WRX STI, Dodge Caliber SRT-4, Volkswagen R32, and even the Honda Civic Si.

My sister owns one and it’s a sick car. very customizable.

Q: how much will the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro cost $$$?

A: Starting price is $23000 for a LS v-6 all the way up to $39000 for a loaded 2SS with all the bells and whistles.
