Q: How do you download a LG Neon’s phone book with a 2010 Ford Escape’s SYNC feature?
I have a 2010 Ford Escape with sync, and my phone is paired. However, it says there are no contacts downloaded with sync. How do I do so? I’ve tried to go to phone settings>autodownload phonebook but it says to make the phone “push” the contacts to sync. How do I do this?

Q: Can I upgrade the radio on a 2010 Ford Escape?
Is it possible to replace the radio in a 2010 Ford Escape if it has factory installed SYNC and Sirus Radio? I wouldn’t mind changing the factory radio out for a double-din touchscreen or Navigation system. I want to keep it clean but don’t want to mess up the SYNC features if it’s built into the existing radio.

Q: is it true that ford escape 2010 is not applicable for alarm?
i purchased a ford escape 2010 xlt 4×4 and found out that the car has no alarm. Now i am about to schedule it for the alarm setup but the ford services told me that this model does not support car alarm. How come? No explanations given to me. I was asked to wait for a return call for the explanation.

A: I can explain. They dont want to do it. Any car can have an alarm installed. Take it to another shop. Check the yellow pages. Good luck!

Q: My 2010 Escape shuts off when I open the door after using the remote start. How can I stop this from happenin?

A: That is made so nobody can steal your car. The best way to override it would be to disconnect the wires to the driver’s door. Hook them back up in spring.

Q: How to turn on the Transmission light on my 2010 ford escape?
when i’m driving in the night, i can’t see any thing on my transmission, I thought it should be lightened up, but I don’t know how, does any one know how and where is that button or the Escape is just like that, It’s just sooooo unconvinience!

A: I have an 08 and it automatically lights up when the lights are on. Take it back to the dealer and have them fix it.

I bought an Escape not to long ago and am just noticing now that they engine compartment is a dull gray color while the rest of the vehicle is a silver metallic paint with a clear coat. Does Ford paint all Escapes like this?
It had 3 miles on it when I bought it, and I ordered it from the factory. It could not of ever been in an accident.

A: Your Escape is normal. Why put flashy paint on an area where nobody but mechanics and owners ever look? Rest easy they did not screw you over.

i love asian cars but the ones i like are out of my price range. i saw the ford escape and it has a good price and the gas mileage is 22/28 thats what it says. anything about the suv? or any opinions on Ford cars in general? thanks!

A: After looking at the vehicle in different colors, I think the White Suede looks the best. Black is to simple, there are plenty of black cars, and the same goes for silver. So id go with the White Suede. Good Luck on your purchase. :)
