2010 Nissan Frontier
Are you looking for a 2010 Nissan Frontier?
Q: 2010 Nissan Frontier VSS Replacement?
i have an awesome deal on a (slightly Used) 2010 Nissan Frontier, assuming i can replace the VSS. I want to take a look at the VSS before i actually commit to purchasing it, but cant locate it. can anyone help? descriptions and directions are nice, but pics are better! being slightly a new be i learn where things are from what they look like. again either would help immensely!
A: Probably needs new wheel bearings as the sensors are included.
Q: Whats the difference between a 2010 Nissan Frontier “SE” and a 2010 Nissan Frontier “XE”?
Anyone? Id appreciate the advice.
Im trying to haggle for one for a grandparent but Im curious what the differences between them are for $2000+
Edmunds tmv
XE 73.3″ – 18,590
SE-73.3″ 20,690
A: Well, a 2000 dollar difference can’t mean more than an upped speaker, engine or suspension. Maybe leather seats too. Your grandparent shouldn’t notice these differences in the car. A nissan is a nissan, a well built car. I’m guessing SE is sport edition, so probably has the listed above upgrades.
Q: 2010 nissan frontier vs 2010 toyota tacoma vs 2010 ford ranger? better buy and most durable and reliable?
deciding between the three and need to know which is the most reliable, dependable and durable. need a good truck i can have for a good while.
Thanks all
A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.deep-ice.com
Q: Would you buy a 2010 Nissan Frontier (middle grade) or 2010 Honda Civic SI (Navigation basically fully loaded)?
A: You also should compare car insurance quotes for cars before buying one, for example here – carquotes.fateback.com
Q: What truck should i buy Nissan Frontier LE King Cab 2010 or Toyota Tundra Crew Max 2010?
A: You should also consider that such a car may be expensive to insure. Check your insurance rates before buying one, for example here – carinsurance.deep-ice.com
Q: Which 2010 pickup has the best 4×4 system. Nissan Frontier or Totoya Tacoma. Both with 6Cyl and Auto Trans.?
A: Toyota have the best resale value and longevity. Fact.
I don’t know the specific drive-train you inquire about, but Toyota has been making indestructible 4wd drive-trains for a very long time.
Q: 2010 Frontier 7Pin towing connector 12V not working?
2010 Frontier 7Pin towing connector 12V not working
——————————————————————————–
I have a nissan dealer installed class three hitch and 7 pin connector. I cannot measure 12V at the 7 pin connector with reference to ground at the connector. Should this circuit be live with or without the key in the ignition? Where is the fuse located for the +12V used to power the 7pin connector?
I have had the dealer inspect and check the connections and found that they originally installed one of the relays backwards in the kickpanel. This was corrected and as stated by the tech, everythings working now. I still cannot get 12v at the connector when measured with a voltmeter.
Thanks
Rick
A: Let’s look into the service manual…Trailer Tow is complicated on this truck everything is fused and relay up in the engine compartment. If there is Kick panel fuses jumper harness check the date on the drivers side door pre 07 2009. My wiring diagram says all the 2010 truck fuses and relays are under the hood on the IPDM and Relay fuse block. (intelegent power distribution module) I would suspect Nissan 12V At the hitch would be when the motor is running
Q: Which one of these small trucks do you like best?
All of these 2010 Models.
Nissan Frontier- Starting at around $17.5
Chevy Colorado- Starting at around$17k
Ford Ranger-Starting at around $17.8k
Toyota Tacoma- Starting at around $16k
GMC Canyon- Starting at around $17k
Which one is the best for Fuel efficient. And worth the price?
You can also rate them from 1-5. Give me why the one you choose is better?
A: 4) The Ranger, while a reasonable choice, is a very old design. It’s going out of production next year. Inexpensive, but will lose value quickly.
3) Colorado & Canyon. Same vehicle. Consumer Reports “much worse than average” reliability. Horrifying crash test results. Troublesome 5 cylinder engine. Avoid.
2) Frontier. A good choice, and good reliability.
1) Tacoma wins by a hair. Get your best deal on a Tacoma, and they will likely be discounted with all of Toyota’s problems right now. Much better than average reliability reported by Consumer Reports.
Q: I need help because i’m pretty down…PARENTS HELP WOULD BE NICE?
ok so dad bought me a 2010 nissan frontier. ive had it for 3 months and just the other night i backed into a metal pole. it pushed in the left side of my bumper and where the bumper came in contact with my truck it left a crevice but it is kinda hide because the bumper blocks it and the side of my truck also dented in. well i took it to a auto body place got the dent out and fixed the bumper but the crevice is still there. well i didnt tell dad about it but today he seen it his self. so he went on and on about how i don’t appreciate anything and my mom is out of town so i got it 10 times worse. and so now he said i have to have my truck home by 9 or 10 every night. (i appreciate my truck and it tore me up that i backed into a pole because i was mad at myself for doing it and IT WAS A ACCIDENT) then he started talking about my black friend saying he don’t work so that i can tow around a n***** (i pay for all of my gas but he pays for insurance) then he said if i f*** up one more time he will use my truck as a work truck for 3 months and i can walk. and my mamaw is in the hospital about 2 hours away from where i live and thats where my mom is so dad said are you going with me to the hospital tomarro and i said no because i know he would give me crap all the way there and back and i talked to my mom on the phone today and she said mamaw was doing good. anyways after i said no he said well since your going to be like that you can just give your keys to me and you can walk or get a ride tomarro or whatever and see what its like to not have a ride on friday night, so im thinking about getting a friend to come pick me up and just staying gone tomarro night. and some other stuff is going on with a girl right now so i just feel down right about now…so what do you think do i deserve everything that happen because i really don’t know i mean it was a accident.
oh yeah i’m moving out when i turn 18 in 4 months if he takes my truck from me or not because i just can’t stand having little freedom listening to my parents fighting all the time and living with my dad period he is always miserable.
we didn’t report it to the insurance so the accident didn’t make anything go up. It was a solid metal pole so u couldn’t even see where i hit it had
The body shop charged me 60 bucks but I payed for it. I cut grass and stuff like that for money.
A: **EDIT** did you have someone fix it for free or did the body shop charge your Dad? Either way, you got it all figured out–you’re moving out in 4 months so the best thing you can do is keep the peace until then..Go out of your way to be nicer even if he is not, the mission is to have peace, not fighting.
Q: are these guys trying to rip me off?
so i got a dent in my truck close to the rear left headlight its about 1 foot wide and about 1 and a half foot tall (the dent) theres no scratches and the creases are not sharp he said he could get 95% to all of the dent out he said it would take about 2 hours and it would cost about 50-75 dollars it sounded cheap to me… but i was just going to see what u all thought? the place don’tt look all that professional and i have a 2010 nissan frontier
A: This is cheap…..
Don’t look that professional?… You could go to a high end “professional” looking body shop and I am sure they would gladly replace the whole panel for $1000 and hose your insurance company while they are at it….
If you don’t mind a repair that’s not super perfect then whats $50 to $75?…. That’s a deal… and if you don’t like the job then whats $50 to $75?.. Not much…. Have them do it….. If the repair bothers you then don’t sweat it – Your not out a lot of money….
Q: Engine swap for frontier?
Im not planning to do this until its paid off, but I want to start consideration now… I have heard about swapping the engine from the Nissan Titan into the Frontier. I recently bought a 2010 Frontier with a 4 banger. Underpowered is an undersatement, but I digress. I’m wondering how much trouble it would be to snatch the tiny engine and replace it with say… a 351 Windsor? or maybe a 383 Stroker? Or if I decide to get ballsy a 400 small block? Which one of these would be easiest? I know it can more than likely be done, because I saw a 350 in a 300ZX, I just need the quickest route. And yes, I know the Windsor is a Ford. Im not brand loyal.
Okay. I DONT WANT A TITAN Engine. And why not a ford??
A: your EASIEST WAY AND SMART WOULD BE TO GO FROM THE 2.5 ENGINE TO THE 4.0 V6 …
AP II Auto Parts USA-NY 1-631-226-0404 / 800-698-9804 ($1850) not too expensive.. NEVER EVER PUT A FORD MOTOR IN A Frontier!!!! 2nd way you can put a 5.6 liter nissan armada or titan engine which runs for actually cheaper ($1800) Motor Pro USA-AZ(Gilbert) 1-480-889-7700. EITHER WAY is a good choice up to you 4.0 or 5.6 same price
Q: Which one of these Mid-Size trucks is best?
Which is best:
(A) Nissan Frontier
(B) Chevrolet Colorado
(C) Dodge Dakota
All 2010 models and 4×4’s. Thanks!
A: B
Q: Which Compact Truck is Best?
Ford Ranger
Toyota Tacoma
Nissan Frontier
Chevrolet Colorado
I’m really thinking of going with the 2010 Ford Ranger or the Toyota Tacoma ( I really don’t care about the Toyota recall I know that they can make good cars) is there any extra information anyone can give me I like the Ford Rangers fuel economy and accessories but people claim toyota has the best compact truck on the market.
the main thing is that I want the truck to have 4 wheel drive I’m more for a 2 door regular cab instead of crew but it doesn’t really matter to me 4 wheels the big one ( I don’t know why but I just am thinking that)
A: They are all the same. It comes down to your persnonal preference. Drive each one and see which one you like better. Drive them a couple of times.
People always claim toyota has the best on the market.. They have a die-hard group of fans. But the Ranger will run to at least 200,000 miles and 15 years easy.
Get the one you like the most. Do something nice for yourself and don’t worry about that the average life of a ball joint on a Ford is 9 years and toyota is 9.3.
Which one makes you most excited?
Q: trying to lower car payment thru trade-in?
my boyfriend is paying $505/month for an 06 nissan frontier. he just got a new job in the city and the commute sucks. he is about even on the loan, he owes just about what the truck is worth. a dealership here has a brand new 08 honda civic si for 19,000, and they are looking to get rid of it since the 2010 models are coming in. i figured thru a payment calculator he can probably get the payment well under $400/month and save a lot in gas, though he would essentially have to start over. he really loves the car, he says he intends on keeping it because it’s fully loaded. should he just pay off and the truck and bite the bullet with gas prices? or try for the honda?
A: If i was you I’d get the Honda, it would serve better in the long run than the Nissan. Yes you would have to start over in payments and I’m not to sure what your financial situation is with the loan and such. But Honda makes a good product and it would last forever. If I was in his position, I would get the Honda. I’ve done weird trade ins like that before (like an 06 Toyota for a 07 Ford) and it didn’t hurt me any at all.
Q: Would you buy a 2010 Nissan Frontier (middle grade) or 2010 Honda Civic SI (Navigation basically fully loaded)?
A: Neither! I buy American!
